FundiMatch Competition Terms and Conditions
The FundiMatch Competition (the “Competition”) is open to South African students, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Employees of FundiMatch, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members or those living in the same household with such individuals, are not eligible to participate in the Competition.
Entry Period:
The Competition begins on 21 February 2024 and ends on 31 March 2024 (“Entry Period”).
How to Enter:
To enter, participants must sign up for FundiMatch Starter Package via the provided link found at: https://fundimatch.co.za/for-students/
Participants must provide valid and accurate information during the sign-up process.
Entrants must adhere to the following when entering the Competition:
- All entrants must share their results on X (formally known as “Twitter”) and explain how it matches their dream career.
- Submit a screengrab of their results for one (1) entry.
- Submit a video explaining their results for two (2) entries.
Winner Selection:
One (1) winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.
The drawing will be conducted on 31 March 2024, and the winner will be notified via direct message within one (1) month following the drawing.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Prize:
- The winner will receive R10,000 towards their tuition fees at an accredited tertiary institution of their choice.
- The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution or cash equivalent of the prize is permitted.
- All taxes, fees, and other expenses associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Publicity:
By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to allow FundiMatch to use their name, likeness, and submission for promotional purposes without further compensation or permission, unless prohibited by law.
General Conditions:
- Entrants must use their own name and surname when purchasing the FundiMatch Starter Package in order to enter the Competition. Individuals may not use another entrant’s name or screengrab when entering the Competition.
- FundiMatch reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Terms and Conditions.
- FundiMatch is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified.
- FundiMatch reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Competition if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Competition.
- By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless FundiMatch, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to or from any prize-related activity.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

By participating in the FundiMatch Competition, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and all decisions of Fundi Capital (Pty) Ltd, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition.
