About

The UCT Online High School ecosystem was designed to service South African learners from a broad range of socioeconomic means.

UCT Online High School is an innovative, affordable online school, offering the (CAPS-aligned) National Senior Certificate curriculum in Grades 8 to 12 for only ZAR2,195pm, the most affordable IGCSE Cambridge IGCSE qualification in Africa at only ZAR3,300pm (US$230pm for outside South Africa), and the Adult Matric programme for ZAR2,195pm.

Admissions for UCT Online High School opened on 21 July 2021 and was met with great interest with over +13,000 applications to date. Learners benefit from UCT Online High School’s supported self-mastery model, which offers learners structured flexibility, modernised learning design and impeccable support from Support Coaches when they need it.

Africa’s leading university, the University of Cape Town, has partnered with Valenture Institute to accelerate access to a world-class high school education that sets students up for success in high school, university and life. Enrolments are open for January 2023.
