FEES

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

NCV Level 2: A minimum of Grade 9 (Senior Phase) completion is required. Grade 10, 11, or 12 certificate holders may also apply.
Report 191 N1–N3 (Engineering): A minimum of Grade 9 with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science, or equivalent.

Eastcape Midlands TVET College offers three main qualification streams for the 2026 academic year:
National Certificate Vocational (NCV) — NQF Levels 2–4
NCV programmes run for three years (one year per level) and combine theory with practical training. Available NCV programmes include Office Administration, Finance Economics and Accounting, Management, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Information Technology and Computer Science, Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Engineering and Related Design, and Primary Agriculture.
Report 191 / NATED Programmes (N1–N6)
NATED programmes are offered in both Business Studies (semester-based, N4–N6) and Engineering Studies (trimester-based, N1–N6). Business courses include Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Management Assistant, Marketing Management, Public Management, and Legal Secretary. Engineering courses include Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Fitting and Turning.
Occupational Programmes & Skills Courses
EMC also offers shorter occupational certificates and skills programmes designed for direct entry into the job market, including programmes in welding, plumbing, automotive repair, and office administration.
