About

eta College is a private higher education and training provider specialising in qualifications that lead to employment in the sport and fitness industries. Established in 1983, eta offer programmes that are internationally recognized in the following streams: fitness, coaching science and sport management. There are campuses throughout South Africa and our Distance learning department services students all around the world. eta prides itself on being the leader in educational programmes for the sport and fitness industry.

 

As a single-purpose sport and fitness educational provider, we dedicate ourselves to providing dynamic learning programmes that lead to internationally benchmarked qualifications.

 

Our occupational programmes are approved by CATHSSETA and our higher education programmes are accredited by the CHE. Our qualifications are registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) by the South African Qualifications authority (SAQA). They are benchmarked against the best international standards in sport and fitness, which means that our graduates are well-equipped to find employment in South Africa and all over the world.

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1: GET THE APPLICATION FORM

  • Select the appropriate mode, then the campus and then the programme 

Hardcopy Application

 

STEP 2: COMPLETE YOUR FORM

 

Online Application

 

  • Complete the application form online on our website

  • Make sure you select the correct mode of study and which campus you would like to study at or online 

  • You will receive an emailer after clicking submitting guiding you on the next steps 

Hardcopy Application

 

  • Download the applicable form, complete your application form in black pen.

  • Be sure to initial each page of the application (your parent/guardian needs to do this if you aren’t 18 years old yet).

  • Submit all the necessary documentation for your application to get processed (Recently certified copy of your ID and national senior certificate or equivalent) 

  • You can email/ deliver your application to the address provided on the campus-specific application form.

STEP 3: PAY THE APPLICATION FEE

 

Online Application

 

Paying your application fee will be a part of your online application and you will be prompted to pay the application fee at the end of the process via Payfast.

 

Hardcopy Application

 

You will be sent a payment schedule form to complete and email back. 

APPLICATION CLOSING DATES

  • Applications are open all year
  • Early bird special ends on the 31st December of that particular year 

APPLICATION FEES

  • Registration fee: R1,500 (Non-refundable)
