Central Technical College (CTC) is a fully accredited private tertiary education institution established in December 2010. As part of the Educor group — the largest private education provider in Southern Africa — CTC specialises in delivering quality, career-focused education in the Further Education and Training (FET) sector.
CTC operates campuses in Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg (Braamfontein), and Pretoria. The college’s educational philosophy centres on equipping students with industry-recognised qualifications that prepare them for immediate employment or further tertiary studies.
The college’s commitment to quality is reflected in accreditation by both Umalusi (Quality Council for General and Further Education and Training) and the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
Financial Assistance and Funding
Flexible payment plans allow students to spread tuition costs over extended periods. Students paying fees in advance receive enhanced instalment benefits, including extended 12-month payment schedules compared to standard 10-month terms.
Prospective students should contact the Financial Aid Department to discuss individual circumstances and explore available funding options. Advisors explain payment plan variations, discuss potential bursary programmes (college-based and external), and help identify other financial resources.
Campus Locations
Durban Campus (flagship) in KwaZulu-Natal’s commercial heart houses main admissions and financial services. Cape Town Campus serves Western Cape learners. Johannesburg Braamfontein Campus positions students in SA’s economic powerhouse. Pretoria Campus serves the administrative capital.
All campuses maintain full accreditation from Umalusi and QCTO under unified Educor group quality standards. Regardless of campus, students benefit from consistent curriculum standards, nationally recognised qualifications, and comparable student support services.
