Welcome to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) institution page! CPUT, established in 2005 as a merger of Cape Technikon (1920) and Peninsula Technikon (1962), is the largest university situated in the Western Cape.

Fees are payable in monthly instalments from February.  For specific course fees, you’ll need to contact Cape Peninsula University of Technology directly.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1:  Get your application form.

  • Online Application (free of charge):
    Undergraduate and postgraduate applicants use the same online application process.
  • Hardcopy Application (R100 application fee):
    You will need to post your application form to the campus that you will be studying at.  This information can be found on the hard copy application form.  

Step 2:  Complete your application form in full. 

Step 3:  Attach/upload all supporting documents. 

Step 4: Make sure you follow up and check your admission status.
