Although tertiary institutions have closed their doors to new applicants, certain colleges are still accepting late applications in 2025.

AAA School of Advertising Late Applications

Late applications for the AAA School of Advertising will close for undergraduate programmes around the end of February 2025. 

The AAA School of Advertising provides a select few guidelines for new applicants that they need to adhere to before they send in their applications, which you can view below:

  1. You need a recognised National Senior Certificate (NSC) with certain levels of achievement in the subjects specified by your course.
  2. Ensure you meet the minimum academic point score (APS) score for your qualification of choice.
  3. Make sure you have a valid email address and cellphone number before you apply (you can create a Gmail account here).
  4. Have all your supporting documents (such as your matric certificate, copies of your ID, academic records, and other qualifications) ready.

Once you’ve gathered all your supporting documents, and you’re ready to send your application, you’ll need to pay a non-refundable fee of R700. Any application sent without paying this fee will unfortunately not be processed.

Act Cape Town Late Applications

Calling all aspiring actors! Act Cape Town, an accredited film acting academy, is accepting applications up until 1 March 2025.

Act Cape Town offers full-time, accredited acting courses that are locally and internationally recognised. If this sounds like the college for you, be sure to enrol on the Act Cape Town website before it’s too late.

AFDA Late Applications

Looking to make it in the film industry? Then AFDA may be the college for you! AFDA is currently open for applications and will close its doors to all undergraduates in early May of 2025.

Whether you aspire to be a performance artist, radio DJ or actor, AFDA has a programme available for everyone.

To apply to AFDA, you will need to pay a registration fee of R1,950 upon being accepted. There is no application fee.

Chefs Training and Innovation Academy

Situated in Centurion, Gauteng, the Chefs Training and Innovation Academy is offering you the opportunity to learn from the best of the best. Applications close at the end of February 2025.

All programmes at the Chefs Training and Innovation Academy require an application fee of R1,000 (non-refundable). This fee provisionally reserves your spot for the course you’d like to study, pending application approval and payment.

Rosebank College Late Applications

Rosebank College is accepting applications up until 8 March 2025. Students looking to study at the college can access their online application form on the Rosebank College website.

Regarding payment, Rosebank College charges a R300 application fee to late applicants. The application fee applies to both local and international students.

SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) Late Applications

Applications for The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) are open and are set to close around the end of February

If you’d like to apply to SACAP, you’ll need to ensure that you have the following with you when you apply:

  • Certified copy of your ID (or passport if an international student)
  • Certified copy of highest qualification
  • Character reference letter
  • Proof of Application fee (course dependent).
  • SAQA conversion (if you are an international students) 

*Note: An application fee is charged upon application and is non-refundable.
