Ikhala charges no registration fees for NCV and NATED programmes. Tuition fees range from approximately R2,000 to R30,000 depending on the course, level, and specialization. NCV programmes fall on the lower end, while advanced technical qualifications cost toward the higher end.

For NATED programmes, applicants should hold a matric (Grade 12) certificate with relevant subjects. Alternatively, applicants may enter with an NCV Level 4 qualification in a related field. Prior subject competency in related areas strengthens applications.
For NCV programmes, applicants can enter with Grade 9, Grade 10, or Grade 11 qualification, or an ABET Level 4 certificate, making these programmes accessible to younger learners.

Ikhala TVET College is NSFAS-accredited, enabling eligible students to access comprehensive financial support. NSFAS funding covers full tuition costs for qualifying applicants from low-income households.
To qualify: (1) Be a South African citizen; (2) Have combined household income below R350,000 per annum; (3) Be registered full-time at Ikhala. Required documents: certified ID, parent/guardian ID (if under 18), proof of household income, and proof of residence.

NATED Engineering Studies develop expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering from N1 through N6. NCV Engineering covers Process Plant Operations, Building & Construction, and Transport & Logistics.
Business programmes include NATED Business Management, Human Resources, and Public Management, plus NCV Office Administration, Economics, Finance, and Marketing. IT courses develop networking, systems support, and digital technology skills. Hospitality and Tourism qualifications prepare students for hotel management and food services.
