Full-time NCV and NATED fees range from R8,500 to R16,000 per annum. Engineering programmes are at the higher end; Business Studies at the lower end. Artisan and occupational programmes range R3,000-R12,000. Short skills courses cost R500-R3,000.
Additional costs include learning materials (R2,000-R3,500/year). Most eligible students reduce costs through NSFAS funding. Payment plans and hardship grants are available.
NCV Level 2: Grade 9 or equivalent required. Some programmes may accept students with lower qualifications if they pass assessment. NCV Levels 3-4 and NATED: Grade 12 or NCV Level 2 completion required.
English language competency is essential. Mathematics skills are important for engineering programmes. Applicants without Grade 9 may be admitted via assessment tests. The college welcomes mature learners and career-changers.
NSFAS provides bursaries covering full tuition fees and living allowances for students from families earning below R350,000 per annum. Apply online during June-August for the following year. Most TVET students qualify for full funding covering tuition, accommodation, meals, and learning materials.
