NC(V) programmes range from R4,500 to R9,000 per year. NATED N4-N6 programmes cost between R5,500 and R12,000 per year. Artisan training and learnerships may have lower direct fees as learners earn stipends from employer partners.
Additional costs include registration fees (R400-R700), examination fees (R350-R900), practical materials for engineering (R700-R2,200), textbooks (R900-R2,800), and student support fees (R350-R700). Flexible payment arrangements and fee reductions may be available on a case-by-case basis.
NSFAS-funded learners receive coverage for all tuition, registration, examination fees, textbooks, accommodation, transport, and personal care allowances. The NSFAS household income threshold is R350,000 per annum.
For NC(V) programmes (Levels 2-4), applicants require Grade 9 or equivalent. For NATED N4-N6, applicants must have completed Grade 12. Engineering programmes require Grade 12 Mathematics and Physical Science with minimum 40%. Learners without required Mathematics can enter through bridging N1-N3 programmes.
Business, Hospitality, and non-engineering programmes accept Mathematics Literacy. All applicants must complete the compulsory Career Guidance and Placement Test. Required documents: certified ID, academic certificates, proof of address, passport photograph. Mature learners (23+) may be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
NSFAS provides comprehensive support covering registration, tuition, examination fees, textbooks, accommodation, transport, and personal care allowances. The household income threshold is R350,000 per annum. Applications are free and processed during designated periods before the college’s general deadline.
Beyond NSFAS, the college facilitates institutional bursaries and scholarships from corporate sponsors.
