APPLICATION DATES

Applications to Motheo TVET College for the 2026 academic year typically follow this timeline:

FEES

Tuition fees at Motheo TVET College for the 2026 academic year are estimated as follows:

NCV Programmes: Approximately R3,500 to R12,000 per annum, depending on the course and level of study.

Registration Fee: R240 to R300 (non-refundable), payable upon acceptance.

There is no application fee to apply to Motheo TVET College. Fees can be paid in instalments, and payment plans are available for qualifying students. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission requirements at Motheo TVET College vary by programme level:

NCV Level 2: A minimum of Grade 9 (Senior Phase) completion is required.

Report 191 N1–N3 (Engineering): A minimum of Grade 9 with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science.

Report 191 N4–N6 (Business): A Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent.

All applicants must complete the Profiler System assessment and Pre-Entry folder to determine programme suitability. Required documents include certified copies of your ID, latest academic results, and proof of residence.

NSFAS & FUNDING

Motheo TVET College is a registered NSFAS service provider, enabling eligible students to access government funding through the DHET TVET Colleges Bursary Scheme. If your combined household income is R350,000 or less per year, you may qualify for full NSFAS funding covering tuition fees, learning materials, and transport or accommodation allowances.

COURSES OFFERED

Motheo TVET College offers a diverse range of qualifications for the 2026 academic year:

National Certificate Vocational (NCV) — NQF Levels 2–4

NCV programmes run for three years and combine theory with practical training. Available fields include Engineering Studies, Business and Commerce, and Utility Management.

Report 191 / NATED Programmes (N1–N6)

NATED programmes are offered in both Engineering Studies (trimester-based, N1–N6) and Business Studies (semester-based, N4–N6).
