Additional costs include registration fees (R400-R600), examination fees (R300-R800), practical materials and kits (R500-R2,000), textbooks (R800-R2,500), and student support fees (R300-R600). Flexible payment plans are available, and fee reductions may be offered on a case-by-case basis.
NSFAS-funded learners receive coverage for all tuition, registration, examination fees, textbooks, accommodation, transport, and personal care allowances. The NSFAS household income threshold is R350,000 per annum.
For NC(V) programmes (Levels 2-4), applicants require a Grade 9 certificate or equivalent. For NATED N4-N6, applicants must have completed Grade 12 with a minimum pass. Engineering and technical programmes require Grade 12 Mathematics and Physical Science with minimum 40%. Learners without required Mathematics can pursue bridging N1-N3 programmes.
Business, Hospitality, Tourism, and non-engineering programmes accept Mathematics Literacy. All applicants should complete the college’s career guidance and educational assessment process.
