[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Procrastination. Why do we do it?
We first need to ask ourselves what is procrastination?
It is the act of delaying or postponing something. It’s usually work we know we have to do … a work evasion technique ย per se.
It is also one of the most common things we all struggle with during exam and test time. We have all done it and still do it. We sit on our bed and think of all of the things we could’ve and should’ve done. We start a spring cleaning mission, we decide that our grandmothers need a visit or the dog needs a wash. Whatever your procrastination method, it can often become a very time-consuming and dangerous thing. Procrastination can also come into play when we need to apply for tertiary institutions and complete our NBT s- and we would hate to miss those deadlines. Don’t let procrastination get in the way of your career path.ย
Here are ways in which we procrastinate and how you can attempt to avoid it:[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4FxijdKpMU” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_cta h2=”5 Tips to get you Exam Ready” h2_font_container=”font_size:16|line_height:2″ h2_google_fonts=”font_family:ABeeZee%3Aregular%2Citalic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” add_button=”right” btn_title=”READ MORE” btn_style=”outline-custom” btn_outline_custom_color=”#323b4b” btn_outline_custom_hover_background=”#ae4768″ btn_outline_custom_hover_text=”#ffffff” btn_align=”center” btn_i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-chevron-right” use_custom_fonts_h2=”true” btn_add_icon=”true” btn_link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Ffundiconnect.co.za%2Ftips-to-get-you-exam-ready%2F||target:%20_blank|” css=”.vc_custom_1548169537150{border-top-width: 2px !important;border-right-width: 2px !important;border-bottom-width: 2px !important;border-left-width: 2px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;border-left-color: #e1626f !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #e1626f !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #e1626f !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #e1626f !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;border-radius: 5px !important;}”]Exam stress can turn even the most prepared student into a ball of nerves.
