Education is provided to the veterinary science students through teaching, learning and research. Modules such as Animal Nutrition, Introductory Animal Production, Medical Terminology, Veterinary Professional Life, Anatomy, Pathology, Microbiology and Physiology, with many others, equip students to be able to render the best possible medical services to achieve job-satisfaction in their veterinary science career.

There is a 12 month experiential training at the end of the degree which is compulsory for you to qualify. As a vet you could work in many different environments, such as a veterinary surgeon that you generally find in residential areas that treat dogs and cats, specialised vets that work with specific animals only, vets for food production- such as cattle. So you have a wide variety of veterinary science careers that can suit your passion.
