Studying a BEd degree in Education through the North West University (NWU) is not just a path to a job that will pay the bills. It’s a path to a fulfilling and happy life and it’s possibly one of the easiest ways to significantly “make a difference” in other peoples’ lives. As a teacher you have the chance to make a lasting impact on your students’ lives, to inspire them to do what they are capable of, to help them discover what they are passionate about or to change their lives entirely. So if you have some desire to make a difference in the world, studying education is definitely something to consider.

As a teacher your job is more than relaying information to small crowds of young people. Teaching gives you the opportunity to inspire kids, to give them confidence, to encourage them to achieve things they never would’ve thought possible. Being a teacher means that you can have a positive impact on the life of every child you encounter, for some kids in a more tangible way than for others, but you can show them all the worth and value they have.
