Unemployed graduates in the Eastern Cape recently gathered to peacefully protest for the #HireAGraduate campaign. The protesters aimed to attract the attention of government and private sector companies and raise awareness for the plight unemployed graduates in the workforce find themselves in.
It’s a chicken-and-egg story, you see. Which comes first? Employers want you to have experience before they hire you, but you’ll never get experience if you can’t get hired?

The best thing graduates can do is get involved in extra work, write a solid CV and thoroughly prepare for those interviews.
